Fishes from Tada Falls

Postby tiroumaran » Wed Apr 18, 2012 8:37 pm

Hi Guys,
I had gone to TADA FALLS last month with couple of my friends. We managed to catch 15 danio meghalayensis and 25 puntius bimaculatus. I have introduced them in my aquarium. Has anyone kept these at home? Anything i should know about? As far as i have noticed..................... The danios are very swift swimmers. The puntius are a kind of bottom feeders and prefer dark spots. The danios are nasty eaters. Its a feeding frenzy everytime i drop food pellets. My angels are not liking the new company!!!
(Btw : It took me a long time to find the names of these fishes  )

Hi Tirou,
I have not kept them. We have few native fish experts here. Let us see if they know anything about them.

Cheers,
Mohan.

Both these fishes prefer planted tank with highly oxygenated & cool waters.. Keep the tank well aerated and some kind of water current.
Post some photos of the fishes and tanks :)
Cheers
