Sorry I don't think it is for sale. These are Ramalingam's Fishes in chennai. Saturday I got bored in chennai and started clicking his fishes at his home for my article in Encyclopedia section. Clicked tons of others halfmoons too but need time to upload them. I clicked his baby halfmoons too which were born couple of days ago for the life stage photos in Encyclopedia section. May be he will be willing to share some of his babies when they grow up. He has one rack full of halfmoons all damn colours pineapple, red, red-black, pineapple-blue, copper blah blah. He does not bring them out. Anyway check with him. Soon you can expect other photos from me.

Good that these fishes reside in Chennai and not in your Bangalore residence ... Visit to Ramalingam farm is pending for long time now and I think time is ripe now
Any idea if they bred in India or imported? Definitely the quality is good!

These fishes are not in his farm. They are in his house along with his Discus collection. He is crazy about two fishes - Discus and exotic Betta Splendens. Even I did not have time to visit his farm this time. He has huge fronts in his farm. They are my all time favorites
He is too humble. If If I were possessing the Bettas he has, I would flaunt like anything.

hmmm...Ok..I will now flaunt that the person who has exotic betta is well known to me Wish he becomes lucky breeding and raising fries from this nice stock!!

yes I spent a fortune to bring these fishes from Thailand. For only three pairs I had to buy 22 more Bettas. Supplier's demand. . My plakat fries are doing fine. Will be putting the other pairs for breeding this weekend.

Me too have an eye on his halfmoon betas, after seeing them "snowdewaqua website"
beautiful fishes.
In some lfs normal betas with round tails are sold as halfmoon beta in Kolathur. beware
His farm is always closed, whenever I visit Kolathur.
Timing is the main problem for me, at that time he will be in his office so I do not disturb him by making a call.
